A quick post while I continue to extract and reassemble........
This is the most ridiculous thing I've read all day. Another example of humanity's sometimes frightening, sometimes hilarious decline.
To quote:"The Prince of Wales is to be immortalised in bronze as a muscular, winged god dressed in nothing more than a loincloth. He will be the first living member of the Royal Family to have a life-size statue dedicated in his honour...... the inscription on the statue in Brazil will honour him as “Saviour of the World”......he(will be)
naked, with giant, angel-like wings protruding from his back. His arms are extended as if offering comfort and security.....At (his) feet is an untidy mass of human bodies, one drinking from a bottle of wine, which is said to represent the world in a mess which the Prince is busy saving."
2000 years from now, if there any humans left, they will probably think we worshipped this buffoon as a god.
Hey, it's happened before.....

Today's Lovely.

I suggest listening to Art Bell tonight. It's about "Rods", or "skyfish", a heretofore unknown species of animal which is theorized to be of gelationus constitution, lighter than air, and able to move freely and largely unseen about the earth and sky. They are too fast to see with the naked eye unless you know how to look for them, and appear to swim through the air with obvious intent and rudimentary intelligence.According to a photo on the site, they may even exist on Mars. Show starts at 11pm PST.

Which Winona Are You?
Another obvious one. If you know Winona's films like I do, it's easy to tell by the questions which Winona you will be. Selectors are fun, but I have work to do, and while perusing other blogs to get direction to a particular item I am looking for, I keep finding these. Two votes against the rain effect, but if I remove it, I know that I will miss it. It rains alot in Portland, it makes me feel cozy when it rains in here, too.

Today's Lovely.

Which Rainbow Brite kid are you? By Growing.

I love to cook, and I think I'm getting pretty good at it.
I especially like to make dessert items, but cakes and pies are too advanced for me just yet,and my cookies always come out too dry. Was a time when all I knew how to cook was spaghetti and omelets.

Keep that chin up! I don't know how long my first coffee cake experiment was in the fridge, but it was still moist and chocolatey.
Deftones get maximum rotation today as I continue to dismantle
the old news site and rebuild it here. I love Blogger because it is inspiring me to learn new things. Trouble with love is sometimes it turns into obsession. Loss of sleep, and while I do, I sometimes dream in code.
Today, I am thankful for my life partner who is ever tolerant and loving, actually likes my cooking, (and who shares one of my fetishes), peanut-butter-filled pretzels,a turtle with her own pet spider, and of course, Phranq, a cat I used to be indifferent to, but now he's one of the top 10 animals I've ever co-existed with, though he's still somewhat indifferent to me,unless he can see the bottom of his crunchie-bowl.

Results from the Belief-O-Matic Test:The top score on the list below represents the faith that Belief-O-Matic, in its less than infinite wisdom, thinks most closely matches your beliefs. However, even a score of 100% does not mean that your views are all shared by this faith, or vice versa.
Belief-O-Matic then lists another 26 faiths in order of how much they have in common with your professed beliefs. The higher a faith appears on this list, the more closely it aligns with your thinking.

If I were a character in The Lord of the Rings, I would be Elrond, Elf, ruler of Rivendell and father of Arwen.

In the movie, I am played by Hugo Weaving.

Who would you be?

Which Rock Chick Are You?

That was too easy. The swan dress question qave it away.

Nothing to say. Too busy tearing down my other site while listening to Numb, Front 242 (just go there, the flash intro is worth it), and FLA.
Oh, and of course,TOOL.
You might not have noticed, but lots of words throughout this site are links, they just don't show up very well, and I hate underlining things. And I hate e-bay for it's sneaky pop-up that crashes IE before I can close it. And if I see a geocities ad that takes up half the page on a site, I usually don't stay long, and I almost never link to it. I hate that The Simpsons was a re-run, but love that SNL was not. The Bill O'Reilly sketch was on the money. I like salmon wellington, but it's not sitting well in my belly at the moment. I love the duck who lost his voice. What an unusually warm day it was.........
